1. ABOUT US AND OUR ROLE
1.1 Tickets.gg (“Tickets.gg”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an online ticketing platform that provides ticket sales, booking, payment processing and related technology services to independent event organisers, promoters, venues and other event providers (collectively referred to as the “Event Organiser”).
1.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tickets.gg acts as a ticketing intermediary and authorised ticket sales agent on behalf of the relevant Event Organiser. Tickets.gg does not organise, promote, produce, manage or operate the events for which tickets are sold through its platform.
1.3 The Event Organiser is responsible for the event itself, including its planning, content, performers, venue, scheduling, licensing, health and safety, admission policies, delivery and any changes, postponements or cancellations.
1.4 When you purchase an event ticket through Tickets.gg, the contract for attendance at the event is between you and the relevant Event Organiser, where Tickets.gg has been authorised to act as its disclosed agent. A separate contract may arise between you and Tickets.gg for the ticketing and booking services we provide.
1.5 The identity of the Event Organiser should be displayed on the relevant event listing or during checkout. Event-specific terms may also apply and should be reviewed before purchasing.
1.6 Tickets.gg is not responsible for the Event Organiser’s performance of its contractual obligations, except to the extent that Tickets.gg has separately assumed responsibility or is liable under applicable law.
1.7 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
2. TICKET PURCHASES
2.1 All tickets are subject to availability, these Terms & Conditions and any applicable Event Organiser or venue terms.
2.2 By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms presented to you during checkout.
2.3 Your order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and a booking confirmation has been issued, subject to fraud prevention and payment verification checks.
2.4 Tickets.gg reserves the right to reject or cancel transactions where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unauthorised payment, technical errors, duplicate bookings or breaches of these Terms & Conditions. Any refund due following such cancellation will be processed in accordance with applicable law.
2.5 You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking, including the event, date, ticket quantity and email address, is accurate.
2.6 Tickets are normally issued electronically to the email address provided at checkout. Please contact Tickets.gg if you have not received your booking confirmation or tickets within the stated delivery period.
2.7 Tickets must not be altered, duplicated, forged or used fraudulently. Unauthorised resale or transfer may be restricted by the Event Organiser, subject to applicable law.
2.8 Tickets.gg does not guarantee the accuracy of information supplied by Event Organisers, although we will take reasonable steps to correct errors brought to our attention and comply with our own legal obligations.
3. TICKET PRICES, BOOKING FEES AND PAYMENTS
3.1 Ticket prices are determined by the Event Organiser unless otherwise expressly stated.
3.2 Tickets.gg may charge booking fees, service fees, payment processing fees or other applicable charges in connection with its ticketing services.
3.3 The total price payable, including mandatory charges and applicable taxes, will be disclosed before you commit to purchase and presented in accordance with applicable pricing laws.
3.4 Any optional charges will be identified separately.
3.5 Payments may be processed by Tickets.gg or by an authorised third-party payment provider. The payment descriptor appearing on your bank statement may identify Tickets.gg or the relevant payment provider.
3.6 The treatment of booking fees and other charges following a cancellation or refund will depend on the nature of the charge, the services supplied, the circumstances of cancellation and applicable law.
3.7 Where legally permitted, fees for ticketing services that have already been fully performed may be non-refundable. This does not affect any statutory entitlement to repayment.
3.8 Tickets.gg may undertake fraud prevention, identity verification and payment security checks. Transactions that fail these checks may be declined or cancelled.
4. EVENT ORGANISER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 The Event Organiser has primary responsibility for delivering the event described at the time of booking, subject to its lawful event-specific terms.
4.2 The Event Organiser is responsible for decisions relating to:
– Event cancellation, postponement and rescheduling.
– Changes to event dates, times and venues.
– Changes to performers, speakers, teams or event programmes.
– Venue capacity, admission and security.
– Event licensing, safety and accessibility arrangements.
– Event-specific ticket eligibility and restrictions.
– Event-related refund decisions and funding, subject to applicable law.
4.3 Tickets.gg does not control these decisions and cannot guarantee that an event will proceed as advertised.
4.4 Tickets.gg may communicate information supplied by the Event Organiser to ticket purchasers but does not independently guarantee the Event Organiser’s performance.
5. EVENT CANCELLATIONS
5.1 If an event is cancelled, the Event Organiser is responsible for confirming the cancellation and determining the applicable refund arrangements in accordance with the law and the contract governing attendance.
5.2 Where Tickets.gg acts solely as the disclosed ticketing agent, the Event Organiser is ordinarily responsible for funding refunds arising from its cancellation of the event.
5.3 Tickets.gg may administer refunds on behalf of the Event Organiser where authorised and where appropriate funds or payment processing arrangements are available.
5.4 If the Event Organiser has not supplied the funds required to process refunds, this may delay Tickets.gg’s ability to administer them. Tickets.gg will provide reasonable information about the refund process and the responsible Event Organiser. Nothing in this clause limits any legal obligation of Tickets.gg to provide a refund itself.
5.5 Tickets.gg does not guarantee that an Event Organiser will remain solvent or have sufficient funds to meet its obligations.
5.6 Where an Event Organiser fails to provide an event or becomes insolvent, ticket purchasers may have rights against the Event Organiser, Tickets.gg, their payment provider or other parties depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
5.7 Tickets.gg will not be responsible for additional expenses such as travel, accommodation, meals or other arrangements made independently by ticket purchasers, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. POSTPONED, RESCHEDULED OR RELOCATED EVENTS
6.1 The Event Organiser may postpone, reschedule or relocate an event.
6.2 Where an event is rescheduled, tickets may remain valid for the replacement date if confirmed by the Event Organiser.
6.3 Where an event is moved to another venue, the Event Organiser will determine whether existing tickets remain valid and whether replacement arrangements are required.
6.4 Refund or exchange eligibility will be determined by applicable law, the nature of the change and the relevant contractual terms. A purchaser’s statutory rights are not removed merely because an Event Organiser describes a change as a postponement rather than a cancellation.
6.5 Tickets.gg may assist with communications, ticket transfers, exchanges or refunds on behalf of the Event Organiser.
6.6 Tickets.gg is not responsible for costs incurred by customers as a result of changes made by an Event Organiser, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
7. CHANGES TO PERFORMERS, PROGRAMMES AND EVENT CONTENT
7.1 Event line-ups, performers, speakers, programmes, schedules and other event details are determined by the Event Organiser.
7.2 The Event Organiser may make changes where permitted by law and its applicable event terms.
7.3 Not every change will entitle a customer to a refund.
7.4 Tickets.gg is not responsible for providing replacement performers, alternative entertainment or substitute events.
7.5 Any refund entitlement resulting from a material change will be assessed under applicable law and the relevant event contract.
8. REFUNDS, EXCHANGES AND CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS
8.1 Unless otherwise stated, tickets for events scheduled on a specific date or within a specified period are generally non-refundable where a purchaser simply changes their mind or becomes unable to attend.
8.2 Refunds are not ordinarily available solely because of personal circumstances, illness, travel difficulties, scheduling conflicts or inability to attend, unless the expressly offered refund policy provides otherwise.
8.3 Customers should consider obtaining appropriate ticket cancellation insurance where available.
8.4 Tickets may only be exchanged, transferred or resold where the Event Organiser permits this or applicable law provides otherwise.
8.5 Where a refund is due, Tickets.gg may process it to the original payment method, subject to applicable payment processing requirements.
8.6 Refunds administered by Tickets.gg on behalf of an Event Organiser may depend on the Event Organiser providing the necessary authorisation and funds, except where Tickets.gg has its own obligation to refund.
8.7 Any refund of booking, service, payment or delivery charges will be assessed according to applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
9. EVENT ORGANISER INSOLVENCY OR FAILURE TO DELIVER
9.1 Tickets.gg acts as a ticketing intermediary for independent Event Organisers and does not guarantee their financial stability or performance.
9.2 If an Event Organiser enters insolvency, administration, liquidation, ceases trading or otherwise fails to deliver an event, the Event Organiser remains responsible for its contractual obligations to customers.
9.3 Tickets.gg may be unable to administer refunds where the Event Organiser has not made the necessary funds available.
9.4 Tickets.gg may suspend ticket sales, withhold unsettled funds, cancel further sales or take other reasonable measures where there are credible concerns about an Event Organiser’s ability to fulfil its obligations, subject to applicable law and contractual rights.
9.5 Tickets.gg may assist customers in identifying the Event Organiser and relevant routes for pursuing refunds.
9.6 Nothing in this section removes any responsibility that Tickets.gg may have as a contracting party, payment recipient, merchant of record or otherwise under applicable law.
10. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
10.1 Customers should contact Tickets.gg promptly if they believe a payment has been duplicated, made without authorisation or processed incorrectly.
10.2 Where a dispute relates to cancellation or non-delivery of an event, Tickets.gg may refer the matter to the relevant Event Organiser or liaise with it to investigate.
10.3 Tickets.gg may provide transaction records, booking confirmations and other relevant information to payment processors or financial institutions in connection with a payment dispute, subject to applicable data protection law.
10.4 Customers retain any chargeback, card scheme or statutory rights available to them.
10.5 Tickets.gg may take reasonable steps to prevent fraudulent or abusive payment disputes, including restricting accounts where there is credible evidence of misuse.
11. TICKET DELIVERY AND VALIDITY
11.1 Tickets will normally be delivered electronically, unless an alternative method is specified during checkout.
11.2 Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking their inbox, spam folder and booking confirmation.
11.3 If tickets have not arrived, customers should contact Tickets.gg in sufficient time before the event.
11.4 Tickets.gg will take reasonable care to deliver valid tickets in accordance with the booking contract.
11.5 Tickets may be subject to scanning, verification or identification checks at the venue.
11.6 Tickets.gg is not responsible for entry refusals arising from a customer’s failure to comply with lawful venue or event conditions, but remains responsible for failures in its own ticketing services where required by law.
12. EVENT ADMISSION AND ATTENDANCE
12.1 Admission is controlled by the Event Organiser and/or venue management.
12.2 Ticket holders must comply with lawful age restrictions, identification requirements, safety procedures and venue regulations.
12.3 The Event Organiser or venue may refuse admission or remove attendees where reasonably justified, including for safety, security, licensing or serious misconduct.
12.4 Refund eligibility following refusal of admission will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
12.5 Tickets.gg does not manage venue security, crowd control, event staffing or on-site operations unless expressly stated.
13. EVENT SAFETY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
13.1 The Event Organiser and venue are responsible for the safety arrangements, licensing and operational management of the event.
13.2 Attendance at events may involve inherent risks. Ticket holders must follow reasonable safety instructions issued by event staff and venue management.
13.3 Tickets.gg does not control physical conditions at events and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Event Organisers, venues, performers or other third parties where it has no legal responsibility for them.
13.4 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13.5 Personal property brought to an event remains the responsibility of its owner, subject to applicable law.
14. RESTRICTIONS, RECORDING AND EVENT-SPECIFIC RULES
14.1 Event Organisers and venues may impose restrictions on prohibited items, recording equipment, food and drink, dress codes, age limits and re-entry.
14.2 These restrictions should be made available by the relevant Event Organiser or venue and must comply with applicable law.
14.3 Events may be filmed, photographed or recorded by the Event Organiser or its authorised representatives. Any use of personal data or identifiable images must comply with applicable data protection and privacy requirements.
14.4 Tickets.gg is not responsible for the Event Organiser’s independent filming, recording or media activities.
15. FORCE MAJEURE
15.1 Events may be affected by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Event Organiser, including severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, civil unrest, strikes, transport disruption or other exceptional events.
15.2 The Event Organiser is responsible for determining whether an event can proceed safely and lawfully.
15.3 Tickets.gg will not be liable for failure or delay in performing its own contractual obligations to the extent directly caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
15.4 Force majeure does not automatically extinguish a customer’s statutory rights to a refund or other remedy.
16. LIMITATION OF TICKETS.GG LIABILITY
16.1 Tickets.gg is responsible for exercising reasonable care and skill in providing its own ticketing and booking services.
16.2 Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Tickets.gg does not assume responsibility for the organisation, performance or delivery of events operated by independent Event Organisers.
16.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tickets.gg will not be liable for losses arising solely from an Event Organiser’s breach of its obligations, cancellation, insolvency, venue arrangements or changes to an event.
16.4 Tickets.gg will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses where such exclusion is lawful and fair.
16.5 Tickets.gg’s liability for a claim arising solely from its own ticketing services will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the affected booking.
16.6 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits statutory consumer rights or excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other non-excludable liabilities.
17. COMPLAINTS AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT
17.1 For questions about ticket delivery, payment errors, booking confirmations or technical issues, customers should contact Tickets.gg at info@book.tickets.
17.2 Complaints concerning event content, performers, venue conditions, admission decisions, postponement or cancellation are primarily the responsibility of the Event Organiser.
17.3 Tickets.gg may assist with communications between customers and Event Organisers where reasonably practicable.
17.4 Customers should report problems promptly and provide their booking reference, contact details and a description of the issue.
17.5 Tickets.gg will aim to respond to customer support enquiries within a reasonable period. Complex refund or event disputes may require investigation with the Event Organiser.
17.6 No complaints deadline in these terms will remove a customer’s statutory rights or applicable legal limitation periods.
18. DATA PROTECTION
18.1 Tickets.gg processes personal information for purposes including booking administration, ticket delivery, payment processing, fraud prevention and customer support.
18.2 Relevant booking information may be shared with the Event Organiser and service providers where necessary and lawful.
18.3 The respective responsibilities of Tickets.gg and Event Organisers for personal data will depend on their roles and the applicable data protection arrangements.

19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
19.1 Tickets.gg may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
19.2 The terms applicable to a completed purchase will ordinarily be those presented at the time of booking, except where a change is required by law or otherwise validly agreed.
19.3 Updated terms will be published on the Tickets.gg website with a revised effective date.
20. GOVERNING LAW
20.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Guernsey.
20.2 Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Guernsey.
